On Aug 18, a steel pole with the weight of 900 kg and length of 9 m was erected in the area between East Ningbo and Feng Hua, which was used for Yong-Tai-Wen electric railway project. It symbolized the beginning of the project. The project is vital part of national coastal passage in Zhe Jiang. The railway will be 282 km long. 7956 steel poles will be fixed along the railway. Because constructors adopted new technology, trains can run at high speed. The project will be ended at the end of Jan, 2009.
